TRAINING INFORMATION & SCHEDULE

Currie Associates personnel are the premiere providers of hazardous materials/dangerous goods training, providing programs addressing the International Maritime Dangerous Goods (IMDG) Code. We continue to work as the exclusive trainers for the International Vessel Operators Dangerous Goods Association (IVODGA, formerly VOHMA). Moreover, since 1992 on a global basis we have instructed thousands of steamship representatives, State and Federal enforcement personnel, shippers and other hazardous materials/dangerous goods employees in the proper application of the IMDG Code for transportation of dangerous goods.

In addition, the company presents hazardous materials/dangerous goods training, programs open to the public through TRAINMAR Inter-Regional Programme Ltd, the Transportation Club of Rochester, NY and others.

Currie Associates provides customized In-house hazardous materials/dangerous goods courses to numerous clients each year on a variety of topics including compliance with the domestic regulations contained within 49 CFR, IMDG Code, Transport Dangerous Goods Regulations of Canada and the Transportation Dangerous Goods by Air. Included are general awareness programs for all hazardous materials/dangerous goods employees and function specific training such as classification of hazardous materials/dangerous goods, preparation of documents, freight containers, tanks, and IBC use, bulk and non-bulk package selection and preparing shipments. These hazardous materials/dangerous goods training programs are intended for employees engaged in domestic, international and intermodal transportation of dangerous goods.
