Past Chairman of the hazardous Material Advisory Council, Washington, DC and past Chairman of the Chemical Packaging Committee of the Institute of Packing Professionals, (IOPP) Herndon VA.

Chaired the Highway and Rail Carrier Protocol Teams (CMA)

Participated on various CMA, HMAC and IOPP committees that promote transportation and chemical handling safety.

Participated on AlliedSignal policy development team to set safety standards at all company facilities.

Regulatory Affairs and Compliance Programs

Instituted transportation compliance programs and trained over 2,000 key personnel in transportation regulations.  Led transportation compliance network for 25 businesses and over 220 manufacturing locations.

Led company transportation assessment team in evaluating and reporting of transportation data for enhanced safety.

Assumed complete responsibility of hazardous material transportation and emergency response while supporting commercialization of new chemicals via DOT (Department of Transportation) and International Regulatory process.

AlliedSignal private truck fleet safety manager for a private fleet consisting of over 150 drivers and over 500 vehicles including tractors, van trailers, state body trucks and cargo tanks.

Emergency Response

Developed AlliedSignal's worldwide off-site emergency response program and trained over 600 company emergency response personnel. 

Periodically updated and issued emergency response program guidelines to meet growth and expansion of company businesses.

Participated on CMA emergency response task group.

Participated on CMA emergency response video task group.  Assisted in the development and publication of four  emergency response training videos.
