Christine Yakush , Vice President, Operations
Christine Yakush is the Vice President, Operations for Currie Associates, Inc. She has over 28 years of experience in trade association management, financial management, project management, marketing, meeting planning and program development.
She is responsible for developing, implementing, and communicating the company’s strategic plan and annual operating plan with business goals and objectives, as well as new business development. Chris manages the operations staff, day-to-day administrative functions, and Human Resources for employees and consultants, project management, as well as financial management services for the trade associations and Currie Associates.
Chris is accountable for overseeing the development, implementation and impact assessment of marketing plans, promotions, client relationship management, as well as identifying and developing new client business relationships.
As a project manager, she works directly with clients and technical consultants to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. She is responsible for solicitation requests and delivery of training, auditing, and consulting proposals. She oversees the onsite and web-based instructor training courses and is responsible for the e-Learning training courses for Currie Associates’ online site and client learning management systems (LMS).
She currently serves as Administrator for the Council on Safe Transportation of Hazardous Articles (COSTHA) and the International Vessel Operators Dangerous Goods Association, Inc. (IVODGA) and is responsible for the overall management of the associations including membership retention, recruitment, sales, meeting planning, sponsorship, and marketing.
