IMDG Code Amendment 40-20 Book Set (Vol. I & II)
The International Maritime Dangerous Goods (IMDG) Code is the mandatory framework for all aspects of handling dangerous goods and marine pollutants in sea transport. The provisions of the Code affect a whole range of industries and services such as manufacturers, packers, shippers, feeder services such as road and rail. the IMDG Code contains authoritative advice on classification, stowage, segregation, packing, labeling, terminology and emergency response action. This version of the Code, which incorporates amendment 40-20, is authorized for use 1 January 2021.

News from IMO (November 2020): Important message from IMO: The International Maritime Organization (IMO) announced that the mandatory compliance date for the IMDG Code Amendment 40-20 has been delayed until June 1, 2022. The new Amendment will be authorized for use after January 1, 2021 on a voluntary basis.
