Mexican Regulation for Ground Transport of Hazardous Materials and Waste – Function Specific (NOMs) – 2021

This course is intended for the training of employees responsible for the handling, shipping or transportation of dangerous goods by ground using the Mexican Official Standards (NOMS) in Mexico. The course meets the regulatory training requirements set out by the SCT (Secretaria de Comunicaciones y Transportes) necessary to comply with Chapter 8 of Title IV for ground transportation of hazardous materials and wastes.

• Navigating the NOMs to determine classification/identification, packaging, marking, labeling, placarding and documentation requirements for the safe transportation of dangerous goods (DG)

• Shippers, carriers and freight forwarders (i.e. dangerous goods employees and their supervisors) who handle, ship or transport dangerous goods by road to, from or within Mexico
